Western Technical College’s Professional Development division is offering two sessions of Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) 8-hour Refresher. The first will be on Thursday, Jan. 12, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., on the La Crosse campus. The second session will be held at the Comfort Inn in Black River Falls on Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

This training complies with MSHA regulation 30 CFR Part 46.8 and provides the annual refresher training required of miners, and other persons who engage in work or are associated as workers or independent contractors with sand, gravel, surface stone, surface clay, colloidal clay, colloidal phosphate, surface limestone, and other types of surface and/or subsurface mines.
