A group of local organizations have teamed up to sponsor a special discussion on sustainability. “Continuing the Sustainability Dialogue,” will be held on Friday, Oct. 12, from 7:30-11:30 a.m. at the Lunda Center on Western Technical College’s La Crosse campus, 319 S. 7th St. The public is welcome to attend to learn more about sustainability’s positive effect on business’s bottom line.

Guest speakers, Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center CEO Dr. Jeff Thompson, Western Technical College President Lee Rasch, and Inland Label President and CEO Mark Glendenning, will talk about how their organizations have successfully incorporated sustainability into their workplaces.

The dialogue is part of a continuing series of sustainability topics. Future sessions will focus on leadership, energy conservation, green chemistry, waste stream management, information technology, purchasing, transportation, and storm water management.
