Western Technical College students are hosting a pie-throwing fundraiser to benefit the Remembering Jesse Parker charity. The event will be held Monday, Nov. 19 in the Student Union. Pie purchasing starts at 11:00 a.m. and throwing begins at 12:30 p.m. The event is open to the public, and participants can choose to throw pies at La Crosse Mayor Matt Harter or a selection of Western faculty members.

There will also be stained glass pieces and water bottles for sale that will contribute to the charity. Remembering Jesse Parker, Inc. funds are dispersed in three core areas; a water fund, education fund and community fund.
