WWTC & Chamber of Commerce sponsor session on coping with change

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. - Western Wisconsin Technical College (WWTC) Black River Falls Campus and The Black River Area Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring an information session titled “Riding the Change Wave” on Wednesday, March 23 as part of their ongoing Lunch ‘N Learn Series. The event will be held at the Chamber of Commerce, 120 N. Water St., from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
The session will explore the stages most people go through when moving through change and will introduce change management skills that can be applied in any setting. Business leaders will learn strategies for managing human dynamics of organizational change. Community members will learn steps to reduce stress and move forward in their lives.
The workshop features keynote speaker Nancy Noelke who is a corporate trainer and executive coach with 15 years of experience in designing and delivering management and leadership development programs. She has served as a Human Resource Development consultant at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis., where her focus has been management and leadership education for physicians and all levels of management. Prior to her healthcare experience, Noelke taught leadership development and management seminars at Stanford University and the University of San Francisco. In 2000, Noelke launched her own training and coaching business where she provides management training and professional development to organizations and businesses throughout the country.
