LA CROSSE, Wis. - Western Wisconsin Technical College (WWTC) invites area childcare providers to earn continuing education hours while networking with colleagues at the Super Saturday event held March 19, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the WWTC La Crosse Campus.

Participants will choose from 28 workshops covering topics such as storytelling, Montessori, stress management, SIDS, snacks for kids, and kindergarten readiness. The event also features keynote speaker Denyse Olson-Dorff from the Department of Behavioral Health—Child and Adolescent Section at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. Olson-Dorff will share information and insights about development tasks of the preschool period and the challenges these tasks pose for the early childhood care provider.

The fee for the day’s activities is $35.40 (persons 62 and older pay $24). To register, call 789.6000 or 1.888.615.2183, or visit room 129 of the Coleman Center, located at 6th and Vine Streets in La Crosse. Workshops fill quickly, so participants are encouraged to register early.
