WWTC offers customer service seminar

Western Wisconsin Technical College is offering a three-hour seminar that will help people develop or improve their customer service skills. Our Service is … the Difference will be held on Wednesday, June 8, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in Room 200 of WWTC’s Academic Resource Center, 400 7th St. N., La Crosse.
The seminar is designed for anyone who interacts with customers, including people in the hospitality industry, salespeople, those who work in retail, receptionists, administrative assistants, food service employees, cashiers, and front-desk employees. Topics discussed will include how to deliver exceptional customer service, what you can accomplish through exceptional customer service, and how you can instill a sense of community and pride in Wisconsin’s workforce.
Class facilitator Kay Brauner is a professional trainer who has worked with firefighters, law enforcement officers, hospital and clinic employees, teachers, librarians, housekeepers, dieticians, carpenters, and managers. She has also been a high school science and chemistry teacher, county social worker, and clinical psychotherapist. Brauner and her husband live in Black River Falls, Wis.
