WWTC adds two online degree options from Franklin University

Western Wisconsin Technical College announces the addition of two new majors to the lineup of online degree completion programs from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. Bachelor of Science degrees in Human Resources Management and Marketing will be available to students starting fall 2005, as part of the Community College Alliance (CCA) program.
The CCA combines on-campus classes at WWTC with online classes through Franklin University. The program currently offers bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Applied Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Digital Communications, Health Care Management, Information Technology, Management, Management Information Sciences, and Public Safety Management.
The new Human Resources Management major combines theory with real-life scenarios, incorporating current industry practice with traditional HR concepts. Graduates will have a fundamental understanding of employee relations, compensation management, EEO/Affirmative Action as well as other legal aspects of employment. The Marketing major is geared toward the evolving business world. Courses are updated frequently to reflect the latest marketing knowledge, technology, and industry trends. Students graduating with a marketing degree will be prepared for careers in advertising, public relations, E-marketing, retail, sales, and service.
