Accounting students can earn associate’s degree ‘after hours’ at WWTC
Published on Friday, July 29, 2005
Western Wisconsin Technical College (WWTC) is offering an “after-hours” Accounting program designed to increase the accessibility of an associate’s degree for working adults. The classes meet one evening per week in a cohort group format, which means the students attend classes with the same team from start to finish.
WWTC will host a free informational session about the program on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the La Crosse Campus in room 114 of the Business Education Center, 405 8th St. N.
The WWTC Accounting program provides students with the foundation in theory and practice for entry-level positions as accountants in private business and industry, governmental agencies and public accounting firms. Graduates work as inventory accountants, billing analysts, cost accountants, income tax preparers, payroll accountants and staff accountants.
