Western Wisconsin Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering a series of workshops and training opportunities for local businesses. The first workshop, “Communicating from 9 to 5 … and Beyond,” will be held Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 8:00-11:00 a.m., in Room 408 of WWTC’s Administrative Center, 111 7th St. N., La Crosse.
This interactive session is designed to improve relationships at work by giving insights to different communication styles. Participants will be led through real-life examples and stories demonstrating four communication styles and the strengths, weaknesses, and perceptions associated with each.
The presenter, Michelle Fellenz, has been developing training programs for over a decade. Currently, Fellenz is working with Human Resources/Organizational Learning and Development for Mcloone. She has also served as human resource development consultant for Gundersen Lutheran, corporate trainer with Thompson Consulting, director of outreach to business with the Franciscan Spirituality Center, and regional training manager for The Company Store/Hanover Direct, Inc.
Cost for the session is $45 and includes materials and refreshments. To register, contact Colleen Clark at 608.785.9232 or e-mail email@example.com. For information on additional WWTC programs and services, call 608.785.9200 or visit the WWTC Web site at wwtc.edu
