WWTC seminar explains how to manage files

Western Wisconsin Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering a series of workshops and training opportunities for area businesses. “File Management,” will be held Friday, Dec. 2, from 9:00-11:00 a.m., in Room 109 of WWTC’s Business Education Center, 405 8th St. N., La Crosse.
In this hand-on session, participants will learn how to manage multiple files within drives and folders by developing a hierarchy of folders. They will also learn about file extensions, file size, defragmentation, scanning files for viruses, and disk cleanup.
The presenter, Lois Cox, is an adjunct instructor at WWTC. Cox teaches a variety of computer classes including Word, Excel, and Access. She has over 14 years of teaching experience at the secondary and post-secondary level.
