Western Technical College seminar gives negotiating tips

Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering a series of workshops and training opportunities for area businesses. “Power Negotiating,” will be held Friday, April 28, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., in Room 200 of the Western Technical College Academic Resource Center, 400 7th St. N., La Crosse.
This workshop is designed to help attendees identify and recognize situations in their professional and personal life that require negotiation. Once identified, these situations are carefully analyzed so attendees come to understand the dynamics at play that can
doom their negotiations from the start. Then, the attendees learn the principles, tactics, and counter-tactics used by master negotiators to get what they want.
