This year, over 400 students in the Goal Oriented Adult Learning (GOAL) program at Western Technical College will be honored at a graduation ceremony scheduled for Friday, June 2, at 7:30 p.m. at the La Crosse Center in downtown La Crosse.

Participating graduates will include those from the following programs of instruction: High School Equivalency Diploma, General Educational Development, Adult High School, and Alternative High School.

The graduation ceremony will feature four student speakers: Methawadee Chotvittayatanin of La Crosse, Georgina Morales of Sparta, Josh Peterson of Viroqua, and Laurie Potter of Sparta.

The keynote address will be delivered by Linda Mast, former vice president of College Relations and Student Services at Western Technical College.

Western offers GOAL programs in 12 locations throughout the college’s district. Additional services offered through Western’s Instructional Support Services Division include English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Developmental Courses prior to post-secondary training, COMPASS Test Preparation, Basic Skills/Review, and High School Credit courses.
