Western offers business seminars on behavior tendencies

Western Technical College’s Business and Industry Services Division is offering two workshops on the DiSC model of interpreting behavior.
“Introduction to DiSC” covers the behavior dimensions of Dominance, influencing, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness to help people understand themselves in relation to others. The goal of the seminar is to help organizations build productive teams, develop effective managers, train sales staff, reduce conflict, and improve customer service.
The seminar will be held from 9:00 a.m.-Noon at the following Western campus locations: Black River Falls on Wednesday, Sept. 6; Independence on Thursday, Sept. 7; Mauston on Tuesday, Sept. 12; and La Crosse on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
“Conflict Resolution Using DiSC” builds upon the principles learned in “Introduction to DiSC.” Participants will use the DiSC model to understand and work through interpersonal conflicts.
The Conflict Resolution seminar will be held from 9:00 a.m.-Noon at the following Western campus locations: Black River Falls on Wednesday, Sept. 13; Independence on Thursday, Sept. 14; and La Crosse on Thursday, Oct. 17.
