Western Technical College offers a Supervisory Management program that will allow participants to earn an associate’s degree while continuing to work full-time. An information session about the program will be held Tuesday, Nov. 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Western’s Tomah Campus. The public is invited to attend this free event.
The Supervisory Management program is designed for people interested in acquiring or improving managerial or supervisory skills with a business emphasis. Students learn about varied topics, including safety, diversity, project management, team building, quality, legal issues for supervisors, and leadership.
There are three options for completing the program: online learning, accelerated learning, and a blended ITV format. The online learning program will be completed through online courses with instructors from business and industry. Students can access their classes from any location at any time. The accelerated learning program meets one evening per week in a cohort group format, which means the students attend classes with the same team from start to finish. The blended option combines online learning with face-to-face via Interactive Television (ITV). All three options are available at Western’s Tomah Campus this spring.
