Credits Required for Graduation: 66.00

Program Overview

Business, industry, government and education recognize the need for an effective communication system. The smooth flow of work depends largely on an efficient communication plan. An important link in this system is the audiovisual media technician who prepares the visual media used for effective communication, and operates and maintains the equipment used for presentations.

Technicians are trained to prepare visuals through such media as digital photography for print and slide presentations, digital imaging, television production, audiovisual equipment and computer-generated images for the web.

The graduate may find employment in educational settings, industry training departments, television stations, video production houses and government agencies.

This program uses computers extensively. Any student who lacks computer knowledge must contact the School of Business.
