Western Technical College is hosting the Fall College-wide Open House on
Wednesday, October 3, 2018
4:00-7:00 p.m.

Each participating campus and regional location will offer tours, refreshments, and door prizes. This is your chance to find out about Western’s academic programs, the application process, financial aid options, campus life, student services, and more!

PLUS!  Fill out an application during the open house and we will waive the $30 application fee*!

Stop by anytime during the event and find out what Western has to offer!

At the La Crosse Main Campus, all activities will be held in the Lunda Center, 319 7th Street N. Meet with representatives from:

  • Student services
  • Program areas
  • Clubs and organizations
  • 4-year universities that accept Western credits, including:
    • Grand Canyon University
    • Upper Iowa University Prairie Center
    • University of Wisconsin-Green Bay
    • University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
    • University of Wisconsin-Platteville
    • University of Wisconsin-Stout
    • Viterbo University
    • Winona State University

Get Financial Aid Assistance

Also, get a jump start on completing the 2018-2019 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)! Financial Aid representatives will offer assistance with filling out the FAFSA, which is required to apply for financial assistance such as grants, students loans, and work-study. Bring your 2017 tax returns to complete the application on site. This is only available at the La Crosse location. Any student that completes the FAFSA and plans to attend Western will be entered to win a scholarship. The scholarship can only be used at Western. For additional information on applying for financial aid, contact the Office of Student Financial Aid.

* High school seniors and older are eligible to apply for spring, summer, or fall 2019. You must apply in person.
