All students have the option to charge textbooks and course materials to their account through Western’s Official Online Bookstore, eCampus. Frequently Asked Questions
- What does it mean to charge textbooks and supplies?
Textbook and supply charges are added to the student’s account and are reflected in their account balance with their tuition costs. If a student has enough financial aid, the charges will be paid automatically when aid is disbursed. If a student does not receive sufficient financial aid, or is not receiving aid, they will be responsible for paying the full balance by the tuition due date.

All students accepted into a credit program, undeclared students, or any student enrolled in at least one credit. Veterans, Apprenticeships, and other students who have 3rd party vendor payments and/or employer funding will have this option as well.
**Funded Students must use any available 3rd party funds before charging additional amounts.

General school supplies, textbooks and course materials for the course(s) in which they are enrolled.
- How do students charge their textbooks and course materials at eCampus?
- Log into Western’s Online Bookstore and click on “Shop by schedule”.
- Continue through the checkout process.
- The option to use the “MyWestern Charge” will appear under the payment option.
- Do students have to charge their textbooks and course materials to their student account?
No - During checkout on the eCampus website, students can select the payment method that best fits their needs.
