Responsibilities
Assist Western's Media Digital Content Specialist with developing video content and/or photos for social media and other marketing purposes. You will have access to the necessary equipment in the marketing department and/or Digital Media program and may be asked to use your personal smart phone to create and post content to Western's social media channels.
Qualifications
Must be enrolled in Western's Digital Media program and familiar with creating and editing digital content for use in polished videos and/or Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube social media channels.

To support the IT - Cybersecurity and Network Administration program with equipment maintenance and lab testing.
Responsibilities
Maintain and organize labs when needed, support the instructors with equipment maintenance in B21, B214, B216 and B217. Will also troubleshoot errors in existing labs and prototype new technologies for future labs as needed.
Qualifications
Must be a student in the IT - Cybersecurity and Network Administration program. Will be skilled in configuring and setting up Cisco Packet Tracer and physical networking equipment such as routers and switches. Student will be practiced in Windows Server OSs, Windows Workstation Oss, VMware, and Linux. Student must have also completed IT Hardware Software and Cisco 1. Must be able to take direction, work independently, be self-motivated and demonstrate critical thinking abilities to independently solve problems.

- Apply motivational interviewing techniques in working with students.
- Demonstrate effective bystander intervention skills.
- Effectively refer students to campus resources related to health and wellness needs.
- Contribute to strategic planning and team development of the peer educator group.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Qualifications
- Be in good academic standing as defined by College policy.
- Strong presentation, speaking and service skills.
- Ability to effectively represent the Cavalier Student Wellness program to student groups, campus departments, Faculty and Staff.
- Attend peer education trainings, workshops and meetings.
- Hold one (1) office hour each week.
- Commit to serving the Peer Education role for at least one academic year.
- 12 hours per week.

Purpose
To provide information, support, and services for residents in the Residence Hall community. Desk Assistants are often the first face residents and guests see, making interpersonal and organization skills keys to success.
Responsibilities
- Being a role model to other community members by following all Residence Life policies
- Being punctual and professional and valuing customer service
- Assisting residents with questions or concerns, and referring to appropriate resources or Residence Life staff when needed
- Keeping desk area clean and well organized
- Maintaining all desk logs and forms (paper and electronic),
- Effectively distributing mail and packages to all residents, and forward mail accordingly for non-residents
- Meeting regularly with the Hall Director for training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Showing up to shifts as scheduled and notifying the Hall Director with advanced notice if sick or unable to work
- Other duties as assigned by the Hall Director
Qualifications
Be in good academic and judicial standing, model successful interpersonal, and organizational skills. Prefer a residence hall occupant.
