Western Technical College offers study abroad programming through membership in the Illinois Consortium for International Study Programs. Through this partnership, Western students can study abroad in a variety of countries. The schedule and course options vary by term and location.
Summer Programs
Most summer programs last 4 to 5 weeks (but programs vary). Applications for summer programs are due by mid-February:

Fall Programs
Most fall programs span 14 to 16 weeks. Applications for fall programs are due by mid-May.

Spring Programs

At the time of application, students should have completed at least 12 credits at Western with a cumulative g.p.a. of 2.5 or higher. Students should also have completed a writing course (such as English Composition 1 or English 1) with a B or higher. Please note that financial aid may be used for study abroad courses only if the credits earned apply directly to your program of study.
