Once the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is completed, Western will award students all types of aid they are eligible for.
Application Process
Western offers financial aid to those who qualify. Financial aid includes federal grants, loans, and work-study, as well as state grants.
Transcripted Credit Agreements
Transcripted credit courses are Western courses taught at your high school by your high school teacher. Once you enroll in and successfully complete the course, you will receive dual credit from your high school and Western.
COVID-19 Funds
Funds from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) were available. The CRRSA Act provides funding to support college students whose lives and education have been disrupted by COVID-19.
Open Educational Resources
At Western, we’re working to make education more affordable and accessible by expanding the use of Open Educational Resources (OER). Led by the Library, our OER efforts have saved Western students thousands of dollars each term.
