About this Program

A paralegal or legal assistant is a person qualified by education, training, or work experience who is employed by a lawyer, law office, corporation, governmental agency, or other entity to perform specifically designated substantive legal work for which a lawyer is responsible. Paralegals are not authorized to practice law. The Post-baccalaureate diploma in paralegal is designed for those who already have earned a bachelor's degree. This program is offered in a blended format that combines face-to-face and online instruction.
