Formalize Your Plan for Fall

It’s time to start planning for fall! Your focus is likely on completing assignments and preparing for exams, but it’s equally important to start thinking about what’s next.

Western will offer more in-person classes for the Fall term. Where it makes sense, there will still be online and hybrid of online and in-person options offered as well.

Following are some tips to set you up for Fall term:

Finish Strong!

Get the help you need to be successful. All of our support services are available in a virtual format and ready to help you get through the coming weeks.

The Learning Commons offers more services than you can imagine, and the friendly staff members are happy to help! They can assist with study tips and personalized support for coursework, including:

  • Communications & Writing
  • Math
  • Health Science
  • Library Services

Make Your Plan!

Work with your College Advisor or program faculty to decide what’s next for your academic plan.

Advisors can assist with:

  • Troubleshooting academic barriers, work/life/school balance, academic support, technology issues
  • Reviewing current course schedule and planning for future terms
  • Identifying professional and personal goals
  • Connecting students to additional campus resources

Program faculty can assist with:

  • Serving as a program mentor and subject matter expert
  • Understanding program context and environment
  • Providing insight regarding program rigor and design

Register for Fall Term!

The schedules for Fall term are available on your MyWestern student portal, and once registration officially starts (Monday, April 19 for Military Veteran students and Tuesday, April 20 for others) you can claim your classes to make sure you get the best schedule. You don’t have to pay for classes at this time.
