Biking and Walking
The La Crosse campus is extremely walkable and bike-friendly, with bike racks located throughout campus. Lock your bike and note its location! You can also register your bike with the La Crosse Police Department in the event that it is lost or stolen.
Bus Transit
MTU city bus rides are free for Western students—just show your student ID. SMRT regional bus routes also serve communities including Prairie du Chien, Sparta, Tomah, Viroqua, and West Salem.
