Parking Ticket Appeals

If you believe you received a ticket in error, reach out to Tracy in the Student Life Office using johnsont@westerntc.edu and she can assist you in the process of submitting an appeal.

The following circumstances for appeal are not valid and will not be accepted:

  • Parking without a permit or without paying for a permit
  • Entering the wrong license plate at the point of purchase
  • Failure to display a permit and/or disabled placard
  • Lack of available or convenient parking spaces
  • Parking for a short period of time
  • Not seeing/reading signage
  • First time offense

Appeals that are not denied due to criteria above will be reviewed, but this does not guarantee that appeals will be granted.

Purchase of a permit is an acknowledgment and understanding of college parking policies.
