Telephone and customer service experience, experience in MS Office Suite.
Library Assistant - Library
To support the library staff in providing library services and computer assistance to students, staff, and faculty.
Check in/out materials, answer both circulation and computer-related questions, shelve materials, shelf read materials, process materials, basic cleaning, add money to students’ print accounts, enforce Western computer policies, and monitor the library space.
Dependability, flexibility and detail oriented are a must. Familiarity with libraries and good customer service skills to assist in various areas is desirable. Experience with computers and scanners. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred. Must be able to learn library classification system, lift heavy objects and reach high shelves.
Clerical/Office Assistant - Independence Campus
To assist the Independence office with general office duties.

Foods Service Assistant - Culinary Management
Assist Foods Department staff.
Deliver and pick up items from the division office (Integrated Tech room 105). Xeroxing and faxing. General errand running and delivery. Filing and computer work as needed. Help set up lab carts and labs. Cleaning as needed-keep the lab organized. Put away audiovisuals as directed. General clerical duties such as filing, sorting, stapling, etc. Other duties as assigned by instructors.
Preference will be given to a student enrolled in Foods Programs. Organizational and computer skills a plus. Must be dependable and reliable.
Hours are variable but will work around school schedule.
Clerical/Office Assistant - Cashier's Office
To assist the Cashier's Office staff with general office duties while providing the employee with experience and help them develop skills required to work in an office setting.
Provide quality customer service, help with mail, filing, answering phones, mailing student bills, general office duties and other duties as assigned.
Experience in an office setting preferred, experience with customer service, filing, answering phones, computer skills and 10 key, cashiering experience preferred but not required.
Shop Assistant - Automotive
To provide assistance and support for the automotive staff.

Network-Systems Lab Assistant
To support the Networking Systems Administration program with equipment maintenance and lab testing.
Maintain and organize labs when needed, support the instructors with equipment maintenance in B21, B215, B216 and B217. Will also troubleshoot errors in existing labs and prototype new technologies for future labs as needed.
Must be a student in the Network Systems Administration program. Will be skilled in configuring and setting up Cisco Packet Tracer and physical networking equipment such as routers and switches. Student will be practiced in Windows Server OSs, Windows Workstation Oss, VMware, and Linux. Must be able to take direction, work independently, be self-motivated and demonstrate critical thinking abilities to independently solve problems.
Elect & Comp Engineering Lab Assistant
To help reduce student wait times during lab and assist instructor in lab set-up.
Check lab trainers and software for proper operation before class starts. Help answer students questions regarding software error messages. Provide guidance in program development and debugging to students with instructor approval.
Must have completed Digital Electronic Concepts, Microprocessors, Introduction to LabView and ideally Introduction to Java or consent of instructor.

To assist the Office of Student Financial Aid with every day duties as well as getting experience for the future.

Outreach and Admission Staff
Provide clerical support and front line customer service.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office, operate standard office equipment, lift boxes, and communicate effectively face-to-face.
Office Support & Peer Tutor
Assist students in better understanding course material and support the Administrative Assistant with general office tasks, Communication Skills, Specialist, Math Specialist, and Health Science Specialist with general office tasks.
Provide basic office support (e.g., filing, copying). Assist students in learning/understanding content in Microsoft Office and Blackboard, keep a log of session, and check in with tutor coordinator at least once a month.
Greet students as they arrive to the Learning Commons and provide support in signing in and out via the tracking system software.
Other duties as assigned.
Confidentiality, patience and openness. Need teacher referral or documented knowledge of material to tutor. Tutor training will be provided.

Assist the POE department with various office responsibilities.
