Western offers an opportunity to enhance your college experience through a credit-based Study Abroad program, which includes a two-credit course and an excursion.
You will use what you learn from the course and during the trip to complete the course requirements. A final grade will be assigned after the excursion and all final assignments are complete.
To be eligible for Study Abroad you must have:
- Completed at least 12 credits at Western
- Earned a minimum GPA of 2.75
Spring 2018 Program
The spring program includes a 10-day excursion to Germany & Switzerland. View the tentative itinerary.
The two-credit course will run during the second seven weeks of the spring term, while the actual excursion is planned for April 25–May 5, 2018.

The early/preferred application deadline is November 30, 2017. The final application deadline is January 12, 2018.
The cost is approximately $3700 (triple/quad hotel room). Flexible payment options are available. Cost includes airfare, in-country transportation, lodging, travel insurance, some meals and some entrance fees. This fee is paid directly to EF Tours. This fee does not include Western tuition/fees.
