What is a STEM Degree?

STEM focuses on four areas of study: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These four fields share an emphasis on innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. And together they make up a popular and fast-growing industry.

Growing Job Opportunities

STEM occupations include computer and mathematical, architecture and engineering, and life and physical science occupations, as well as related managerial and postsecondary teaching occupations. Employment in these careers is expected to increase over 10 percent in the next 10 years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The median annual wage is $95,420.
