In early 2019, Western Technical College worked with Emsi, a labor market analytics firm, on an economic impact study.

The study measures the economic impacts created by Western on the business community and the benefits the college generates in return for the investments made by its key stakeholder groups – students, taxpayers, and society. The report presents two analyses: economic impact analysis and investment analysis.

All results reflect employee, student, and financial data for fiscal year 2017-2018.
